Buying a used car in Australia

We bought a used car after coming to Australia about two weeks. It was a remarkable experience for us to buy something valuable in Australia, especially the used stuff. The first thing was to decide what kind of cars we wanted, a brand new car or a used one. We had the bad experience in buying a brand new car in China. We spend RM B 390,000 to buy a new car and it only was worth RM B 170,000 when we sold it two years later. So this time we made a decision of buying a used car. My husband collected the information on line firstly and then we went to the car dealer checking the car.We finally bought a car made in Australia ,which had a good condition with the low km.

In my option,we don't need to buy a brand new car and it would waste money. But we must do some homeworks before we go to buy a used car. There are a lot of things which we need to know. we should search the information about it on line , on the newspapers or from your friends.

Chowchow

This advertising is for pets' food called ROYAL CANIN .This brand is well known for dog lovers. I am a dog lover and my favorite dog is Chow chow showed on the picture. The Chow chow has been known for thousands of years in China, where the they were put to work as a hunter, cart puller and boat guard. Now they became family pets. It is a particular character for all the Chow chow that they have a blue tongue. I am really crazy about breeding a Chow chow. I owned a Chow chow in China before we came to Australia .I could not bring him with us because the customs of Australia don't allow animals from other coutries to enter to Australia. I have to give him away to my friend. I miss him very much and I hope he would lead a happy life.

The Health Expo

The Health Expo was held successfully last Wednesday in our TAFE. It was the first time for me to take part in this kind of activity. A lot of products related with health were displayed to us. We also enjoyed the healthy food which cooked by students from AMEP. These foods were not only tasted, but they have a great significance as well. We sold them for a donation to Paralympics. There was lottery drawing ceremony at last. Nancy, one of our classmates was lucky and won the prize. All of us were happy for her.

I think the Health Expo was meaningful for us. We learned a lot from this activity. We knew that what healthy food is, what healthy life style is and we could do much to these people who need help indeed through our efforts

Fast food

It is well known that the fast food is called junk food. This kind of food could usually be harmful and it is high in fat, sugar and calorie, which makes people fat and sick. The fast food also causes people to have heart attacks and diabetes. It is difficult to know the amount of fat and nutrients in the processed food sold in stores. So it is hard to control it by ourselves. Accordingly, we should avoid eating fast food.

Thin model

Personally, I totally agree with the decision to bar extremely thin women from the catwalk. I think people think the same way. Firstly, extremely thin models are unhealthy symbol. Fashion models usually stand for certain vogue which is popular now. If every model appearing on the stage was extremely thin, the public would consider extremely thin model as a beauty. This would give rise to the wrong trend. Some young women and teenage girls would try their best to lose weight ,which would lead to the serious malnutrition and eat disorders . On the contrary, some people who are a little bit overweight could be deliberately bad. The both of them are influenced by the fashion. Secondly, the idea that the model should have extremely thin shape also exerts an bad influence on themselves. They suffer from starving for losing weight and most of them eat disorders.

In my point of view, the healthy is the most important for us.
